"As a first time at the Clitheroes Auction Mart, it was excellent and a great relief to be there after last year's cancellation," said show secretary Andrew Richardson.
"Our judges came in from Perth, Dumfries and Hawick and thoroughly enjoyed the day, as did the 130 exhibitors, mostly locals but including people from North Yorkshire, Wales, the south and further afield.
"We had a lot of favourable comments on the new facilities - the catering, the parking - and we'll be back there next year!" Mr Richardson added. "The whole show had a buoyant feel about it and I was very pleased with the turnout and support."
Show president Allan Procter and his wife from Ribchester once again got top honours with their White Wyandottes, winning best soft feather heavy bantam.
