CHILDREN from St Mary's School in Chipping got into character for the Parish Summer Fayre on Sunday.
Many of the parish children took an active role and organised traditional games and ran stalls, such as the Pirates Treasure Map.
Visitors relaxed in the heat with strawberries and iced Pimms, watching the five-a-side football tournament and St Mary's pupils entertained the crowd with the rhythmic beats of their African drums.
The day ended with a messy egg throwing competition.
