Red Nose Day is on the way for March 15!

Red Nose Day on Friday March 15 is fast approaching and one Longridge store is mapping out its plans for the big charity day.

And the store has lots of fun activities being organised for supporters to enjoy.

Events, include men’s waxing courtesy of The Green Room in Longridge and a Maltesers chopstick challenge starting from March 4 from the customer services desk.

There will also be a sponsored silence by Collette, the counters team leader,

On the Saturday, March 16, there will be a display by the ‘Dancing with Passion” dance troupe from Preston.

Store ambassador Janet Camm says staff and colleagues will be dressing up...”or wearing their Red Nose shirts.

“Or, if you’re the manager, wearing a Manchester United onesie for the day - a terrible experience for an Oldham Athletic supporter, but worth it to be sponsored!”

There will a selection of Comic Relief merchandise in the store, including ‘the nose with toes.’

Janet added: “The dancers will be in store from 1pm on the Saturday until about 3.30.

“We will be having a cake stall on the Friday, plus the waxing. Managers will also be in stocks somewhere in store - so watch out for them!

“There will also be a bran tub and a Red Nose quiz for children.”

Times will be confirmed later.
