Police office to house
PLANS for the change of use of a room for residential purposes - formerly used as a police office in Hurst Green - have been given the go-ahead by Ribble Valley Council.
The room is within The Cross on Avenue Road, Hurst Green, and was used by the village bobby in the past.
The council has also approved retrospective plans to extend an agricultural building and hardstanding at Hall Trees Farm, Hough Clough Lane, Chipping; plans to fell a sycamore tree at the Rectory, Riverside, Ribchester and for a dormer extension at 4 Broad Meadow, Chipping.
l Recent plans submitted to Ribble Valley include: a new home on land adjacent 26 Dilworth Lane, Longridge; an orangery at the back of 22 Asturian Gate; a single storey annexe at the back of Reed Deep, Whalley Road, Hurst Green and demolition of an existing single storey out building at 2 Pinfold Farm Barn, Preston Road, Ribchester and erection of a new single storey granny annexe.
